Triage

A certain hospital and a certain health insurance company are waging war in the public media. One claims its services are not being paid what they are worth. The other party states the services are overpriced!

Both parties want our support! The assumption being that one of them is lying. I say could it be possible that both are lying? As the one caught in the middle my desires are simple. Treat me with quality care and service. Pay my bills as you should for the money you are charging me. Meanwhile stay out of telling me what hospital I can go to or what insurance plan you accept for payment.

In short, work it out like I have to do. No money no go! Can I get a rebate if the hospital charges too much or if the insurance plan doesn't cover certain hospitals? As I recall hospital and insurance are regulated by the state. Maybe the state needs to step in and set the policy and payments.

Hospitals perform a procedure called triage. Perhaps the public needs to also.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

It seems like one local university's board of directors has a power director who wants a building named after themself!

The flip flop is on I guess? Maybe they will work it out.
