The Problem With ...

The problem with pedestals is that objects placed upon them seem to topple off eventually. Mrs. Clinton is an example.
The best doesn't always rise to the top of a society. The top is not the best place to be if you want a low effort position. For sure your friends are beneath you. Uneasy lies the head of state.
Sometimes voters are swept up in the political campaign and experience the morning after headache. Like believing the campaign promises were actual promises to be kept. That the politician would be bound by anything he or she said. What politicians are really doing is running for an award like actors do.
Those who rise above the common man are quickly struck by how it hurts to do so. The desire for uniformity seems to be force down not elevate up! The smartest men often play the fool for others.
If one wishes to excel in life one should study life in the same manner and discipline as one would medicine or accounting. Life does have a terminal degree called death. So far I haven't found any do overs.

I wish government programs had the same degree that life has! But alas they do not. That is unless they happen to run out of money like Social Security and Medicare are going to do. But no worry, we just borrow some more money from China. BB
