Newsday, NY - Feb 6, 2008

google news commentHey, Senator Clinton, I Need a Loan! - Feb 7, 2008

For the Clinton campaign, the $5 million loan is a financial benefit and a potential political headache.  First, it raises questions as to whether the Clintons got rich through their links to special interests.  Second, the news comes at a time when many Americans are struggling to get loans, as Senator Clinton herself has said.

Senator Obama’s campaign can have some fun here.

Just picture would-be homebuyers and college students going to Clinton rallies and holding up signs saying:  “Hey Senator Clinton, I need a loan!”

Friend --

One of the things I'm most proud of about our campaign is not the amount of money we've raised, but the number of people giving it.
