IN ORDER TO HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE BUDGET PROCESS IT IS CRITICAL TO ACT NOW!! During the week of May 26th, House leaders are expected to complete work writing the budget. Unlike previous alerts that focused on legislators from your district, this alert will be sent to key leaders in the House and the Senate and inform them about the need to fund housing counselors, legal service providers, the Housing Trust Fund and the Home Protection Pilot Program. It is also important to personalize your email message by introducing yourself in the email and explaining why you care about reducing foreclosure and supporting affordable housing.
