How ironic -- The WDT has the audacity to caution its readers that the show of support to Brittany and her family carries "the potential of dangerously dividing the community, largely along racial lines." My question to you is, "Do you not understand your part in creating this line?" How long did you think reasonable people would . . . (Source Wilson Daily Times)
C. Dancy II - TPA Opinion: Yep the racist are coming out of the woodwork. Another ignant person who are twisting the facts because at the end of every post on the forum was a link to my blog that shows my address tob be Pinetops, NC. I do agree that the WDT has played a major role in creating the line however it is not in favor of the Johnson family.

Dear Mr. Rogers:
Although I could respond to the following article "Newspaper coverage divides community" more in depth I will first ask that you correct Emma's statement that I am from Nash County. Again it goes to show how bias this racist newspaper is because you allowed her to call me a nut. When I checked the definition of nut per Webster it gives the several different definitions however how do I know this ignant person was not using 9usually vulgar : testis? You see again I question why I was banned from the forum since you continue to allow certain folks to say certain things that are posted online on paper however the letters and editorials are printed in the print edition unlike the Forum post.
So the forum and the letters to the editor has different rules. As I stated so many times this paper could interject things into articles that you know to be untrue because I know you know I am from Pinetops because I have sent many Press Releases to this paper.
Again I ask that you correct my address in the above article so that your online and print edition readers will not be mislead that I live in Nash County.
Thanking you in advance.
At the end of the day, it is not our enemies we remember, but the silence of our friends! Dr. Martin L. King

Rocky Mount needs effective black leaders to continue the movement started four years ago by the City Council, a councilman said in the keynote speech Friday night at the NAACP's 34th annual Freedom Fund Banquet. Rocky Mount Telegram Online

President Andre Knight State of Rocky Mount
Reuben Blackwell Receives Presidents Award
C. Dancy II - TPA Opinion: Boy didn't Knight Stand up, Speak Up and Act UP? You see he has been awake so he didn't have to wake up. Folks in Rocky Mount, again WHIG TV Herb Greenberg has shown how he boycotts and do selective events that he attends video to play on his station. WHIG was at the Dr. King Celebration about 2 weeks ago, WHIG was at the Rocky Mount City Council meeting when Rev. Gailliard came down to attack Knight and the other black councilmen/women. I understand WHIG was at the Dr. King Park Celebration this morning the day after the NAACP Banquet. I continue to say it, it is a movement to discredit and to remove the black majority from the Rocky Mount City Council. Black folks and all good folks it is time to wake up, stand up, speak up and act up to seek equality from the media as well as the governmental bodies.
