Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bev Perdue invoked Hurricane Floyd on Tuesday in accusing her Republican opponent of being out of touch with rural values.
Perdue greeted more than 50 Twin Counties residents during the campaign stop at the Nash County Democratic Party Headquarters in Rocky Mount, shaking hands with supporters and signing autographs for children. (Rocky Mount Telegram)

I am glad to see the candidate for governor touting education and technology because they are key to me among other things. See what Perdue has to say while she was in Tarboro.

So obviously towns like Tarboro and Rocky Mount here in Edgecombe county are on the right track as they try to revitalize their downtowns however some folks in Rocky Mount seems to have a problem with revitalization. Thank you Perdue for confirming the need for revitalization among the other things on your list as you travel the state before you become the next Governor of North Carolina.
