I am familiar with Work First because I served on the Edgecombe County Work First Extension Hearings Committee. We met as needed with teams of 3 and we interviewed the Work First recipient to to see if the extension should be granted or denied. (Read more)

For those in Tarboro who said that Rep. Angela Bryant don't live in Edgecombe County during the Edgecombe County/Golden Leaf meeting, yeah you were right. However as I stated to some at the meeting and on my blog, nope she do not but I tried to tell them that our Rep. Joe Pat Tolson can't get bills passed without the help of other representatives.
Thank you Rep. Bryant, D-Nash, and other legislators pushed to reserve nearly $50,000 in the state budget to do just that, but the funds weren’t included in the final spending plan. (Read more)
