Endangerment charges were pending Monday against the parents of a slain Rocky Mount toddler as police continued to search for suspects in two separate weekend shootings that, in total, killed a child and injured three men.

C. Dancy II - TPA Opinion: Somebody asked me tonight what will it take to stop the crime? I said the police can't stop it and all they can do is to respond after the fact. But what can be done is the laws can be changed so that we can have a stricter judicial system like other countries. But we also must keep in mind we have a major problem with our judicial system so we have some major work to do. So when will we begin is the question I must ask? I am ready what about you?
