One of the things that I have always said is elected officials have the opportunity to be able to go to conferences, workshops and etc. and learn things. I support that because that is a good thing when and only when those who attend actually go to the event and participate in the process so they can apply what they learned.

Rocky Mount city officials have billed taxpayers more than $11,500 to attend a conference at a luxury oceanfront resort in South Carolina last month. (Rocky Mount Telegram)

Saturday, September 13, 2008 - ElectriCities filled with employees covering lies and badmouthing

Many of us have been mad for 10 years but the rate increases recently made it worse. We heard they were coming and we heard about BIG raises, lawsuits and big salary increases cause people are blackmailing each other. It has been going on for years and we all have been paying. It is much more than this one trip. My goal is for local officials to get in the loop. We known there was a problem with spending for years. Some of us worked for cities and saw managers and mayors getting paid and getting trips so we knew this place smelled bad. We heard stuff. Then we saw people leaving all the time and BIG money being for stupid stuff. Lawsuits and people talking about people being paid off. And more more lobbyists being hired and paid more and more. Staff can bad mouth people but the legislators then talk about what was said and truth come out. The lobbyist getting personal money from Dominion lobbyists is bad and Tilton turned his head. Dominion is telling us what to do and screwing us over. When will we learn the truth.Tilton could have managed people like this out but instead he gave big raises and created monster cancers who now turn on each other. Davis been calling people to trash talk Raber when she is to blame. Norris badmouthing Tilton but he is to blame. Davis is blaming Raber for annual meeting being expensive but we heard it is her that overspent last year and had it taken from her. Norris flies around every day. What a rats nest of people badmouthing each other, lying, cheating, stealing from people in cities, calling reporters and lying about each other. It will take a while to get information and piece all lies together but it is happening. Poyner and Spruill is covering lies and getting rich. We will demand change. Election time means we can talk to people and put pressure on. Thanks to Curmilus Dancy and Rick Dew who are not scared off by ElectriCities trash talking. Trash talking comes back on you. So keep at it ElectriCities. It is not working. Darien
