First of all if this information had been made public by Sarah Palin during her acceptance speech while she was talking about Senator Hillary's supporters, she should have been saying she would be there for her daughter while she have her baby. Being a parent and having 2 children out of wed-lock when I was in my 20's, I feel the daughter will need her now more than ever. However that is Palin's decision and I can't make that for her. But it is news-worthy for me because family values first then others are secondary for me.
My final answer is that when a person becomes a public official then they open themselves up for criticism. It is up to them how they respond to it.
And last but not least I am not running for anything. Trust me when and if I ever do run for office, I will tell my story and not allow others to tell it. My goal has been to help others get elected.

Amazing that you would even comment on this when you, yourself fathered a child out of wedlock and then later was charged with assaulting the mother. Governor Palin is running for Vice President, not her daughter.Note: Nope what a lie. I was not charged with assault. Yep she took out an assault charge. If your family values come first why were you not able to get custody of your first child ?Note: I never tried to get custody of my child. I was the one who took the mother to court to get visitation rights. It was I who voluntarily had my child support taken out of my check at work. It was I who continued my child support after her 18th birthday in April until the following July to make sure she received it until she graduated from H.S.
I would never had tried to take my daughter from her mother unless she was abusing her. I was willing and did drive to Maryland for years to pick up and return my child. Have more? C. Dancy II - Editor

With less focus on the privacy of Sarah Palin's daughter, the real issue is that now Sarah Palin has no standing, nor credibility to run on teaching abstinence in shools without the aid of physical protections and education.That's where the real issue is worthy of conversation and attack against the far right who think they know your life better than you for your own family.

Obama's mommy was unmarried and conceived Obama at the age of 17. Birthed him at 18. Obama's daddy left a couple years later. He became a victim of alcoholism and poverty. These were the circumstances surrounding Obama's birth. He turned out just fine dont you think? Running for Prez and stuff.Response: So what is your point? Are you saying that this is a comparison to Palin's daughter being pregnant?
