Terry Smith shows his blatant racism again by not mentioning that Rocky Mount City Councilman, North Carolina Eastern Municipal Power Agency Member Andre Knight council resolution presentation that took place during this same meeting.

Blatant racism and Blatant incompetence and Blatant Crap.

Sam Noble is one piece of work.

Public outcry demands cuts at ElectriCities so he does some (very very little) and the paper makes him sound like a caped crusader. Pitiful. Cut the dang board salaries for 2008. Why wait to 2009! Is there something we are missing here??

So while he is making excuses for his lack of oversight suddenly demanding stuff after a community outcry demanded cuts, he cuts the board salaries for 2009 - what the heck is wrong with cutting them for 2008? Is he getting some other benefit we do not know about?

But to tell this sappy story to his paper and have it written. Good grief. Jeez. He knows he could cut his salary and he knows what is going on with lobbying, legal settlements, people leaving left and right, annual meeting, legal costs, extravagant salary increases - He was a board member and you know he got some reports. If he did not get reports, then the CEO must go for misrepresentation along with others (and you see the CEO, CFO and now Risk Officer for Wachovia are all gone after their debacle) because they misled the Board. If he did get the reports, the board has been malfeasant and derelect in its duty.

But then to say all of this while getting a raise and his council getting one where they say/admit they are giving up "fancy trips" Yikes. This is all absurd and an abuse of the public trust. I am speechless

This is craze. The Tarboro Council is givin themselfs a raise in the middle of electric rate increase. What up with that? Jesse Tilton makes too much. Sam Nobles know that and is not cutting him.

Friday, August 1, 2008 - Terry Smith

I heard from a legislator that Terry Smith has gone lobbying with Sam Nobles for ElectriCities and to legislative receptions along with reporters where they were dined on our dime (electric rate) via ElectriCities. If so, it sure explain why he is lovin on Sam Nobles in the paper. I could care not one damn if Nobles wakes up at 4 am. It was probably cause his guilty conscience was hurtin him. Of the 700 million dollars, this was all he could cut? He look dumb not knowing about spending which I dont believe. Can someone find out about Terry Smith?
