THANK YOU DISTRICT 1 !

Against the Recall of T. Dianne Bellamy Small The voice of District 1 has been heard - 937 Against the Recall vs 670 For the Recall. Thanks to everyone who supported the Against the Recall Campaign. Special thanks to the Pulpit Forum, NAACP and the dedicated workers in and outside of District 1.

Many people worked very hard for weeks to defeat this effort. It is now time for the District to unite for the needs of the District and focus on who they want to represent them for the next 2 years.I believe a sleeping giant has been awakened. For now, I will resume my seat on the Greensboro City Council and continue to work to make a lasting difference for District 1 and the city of Greensboro. I

C. Dancy II - TPATruly indeed the voice of District 1 was heard. I too would like to say thanks to everyone who supported the "Against the Recall Campaign". I know that "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." This message that was sent to those who were working against the Councilwoman need to be shared across the nation so that others will WAKE UP, STAND UP, SPEAK UP and ACT UP against the Safe Negroes and Racist White Folks who need to understand that it is not business as usual.
