AND SO I GO YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

We humanoids have so structured and regulated our lives that we are required to take and pass a test to do the most mundane things. We take a test to be permitted to drive a car, take a test to practice medicine from the most skilled surgeon to the nurses aide who gives sponge baths and carries bed pans. We have to pass an exam to defend another in a court of law, and we even have to take a test to arrest that someone before they get to court. We have to test to give a perm or a hair cut, or sell real estate. We have to test to preach or teach or even give a test. The list of activities in our daily lives that require taking and passing a test in order to perform the activity just goes on and on and on. However there is one pursuit ,and to my mind the most important of all human endeavors, which requires nothing but two fornicating “naked apes” of the opposite sex to execute, and that is making a baby. No matter how intellectually challenged or morally corrupt any two “things” out there in our world are they have the right to bring another child into this world and call themselves parents. There really ought to be a law, but there isn’t, so the torture and slaughter goes on unabated.

Billy Jones post “Another Dead Baby” cast a shadow over yesterday and last night and still hangs with me today. Sometimes I wish I had the power of God for one moment so that I could sterilize all the misfits on Earth. BB
